USE
TRICHOMAX + is a microbiological fungicide and root stimulant formulated from spores of a selected and exclusive strain of the endophytic fungus and biological control agent Trichoderma asperellum Ta. 13 (=BCC-101).
ACTION MODE
The strain Ta. 13 (=BCC-101) of Trichoderma asperellum was selected for its high effectiveness in the control of soil phytopathogenic fungi (Fusarium solani, Fusarium oxysporum, Rhizoctonia solani, Sclerotium rolfsii, Gaeumannomyces graminis, Colletotrichum gloeosporoides, among others) that affect crops of economic importance such as rice, sugar cane and peanuts.
Three mechanisms of action are responsible for the high effectiveness of this product against phytopathogenic fungi: competition for substrate and nutrients, antibiosis, and microparasitism.
Its high capacity to endophytically colonize the roots of rice, peanuts, and cane is complemented by its ability to penetrate the root tissue, generally up to the first and second cell layers, only in the intercellular spaces.
This product activates the production of compounds that are related to resistance to disease attack, such as Induction of Systemic Resistance, and solubilizes nutrients, making them more available to the plant.
It creates a favorable environment for root development, which increases the plant's tolerance to biotic and abiotic stress and promotes plant growth, ensuring the health of the rhizosphere.
Trichomax Plus ensures 30 to 180 days of control of phytopathogenic soil fungi, depending on the crop.
APPLICATION MODE
To apply Trichomax Plus in soil, it is recommended to use a backpack or tractor-driven spray equipment to apply it at and around the base of the plant. It can also be applied by drip irrigation system or micro-sprinklers.
For foliar applications, it is recommended to use a backpack sprayer or aerial spray equipment powered by a tractor . Always direct the application to the site where the pest is located.
